The purpose of this blog is to have a place to write all my random thoughts and musing about my pregnancy.  But first, here is a little about me.

I’m 33 years old and married to Scott.  We got married in 2004 in Oklahoma City, but live in Tulsa now.

I asked my friend in London to describe me in five words today, and the first thing she came up with was… tall.  Ok.  I’ll admit, I am higher than average.  I love reading, writing, and anything to do with technology.  I’m a Mac but sometimes am required to be a PC.  I speak my mind, but feel like sometimes I have to walk that fine line between being honest and being kind.  My friends and family mean the world to me.  And my life’s dream is to create a wellness center that is completely self-sufficient and sustainable, here in Oklahoma.

In November 2009, I left my full time job as a sales rep for an organic foods distributor.  In January 2010, I started my own web design company called All Connected Media.  In April, we found out I am pregnant!

So here we are in June.  I am 11 weeks pregnant and still learning what that all means.  I’m reading the books and the baby blogs, but there really is nothing like experiencing it for yourself.  And it seems that there is quite a bit of secrecy surrounding pregnancy, and all its “side effects”.  I plan on using this space to speak honestly about the experience.  I find myself having to say to people that I am not complaining but rather observing with amazement at all the changes.  But I think I may be sometimes actually complaining.  And that’s ok, because this is my blog and I will complain if I want to.  Besides, we chose this and we are really excited about welcoming a new person into our family.  So it’s all for a good cause.  But seriously, there are some things they just do not tell you about pregnancy…  but I will.
